To support youth and local communities in Oregon by fostering the sharing of music with family & friends.
Our mission:
Our strategy.
Step 1. Build a music program in the Rogue Valley that provides young fiddlers a variety of activities that develops their skills and their relationships.

Step 2. Work with teachers and parents in communities around Oregon who want to create a similar program in their local area.
Step 3. Build connections between communities around Oregon through shared music camps and performances.
Our Local Experience.
Ashland, OR
Creekside Strings is a music project that teaches students in Ashland, Oregon and surrounding towns in the Rogue Valley. Currently, four teachers collaborate to teach 140 students, ages 4-75.

Creekside Strings also serves as a learning lab. It runs events and programs with the objective of making music a part of daily life for our students and families. Some of these programs are more fun and effective than others. And we make a note and do more of those!

The success of our project and the interest it has generated in other communities inspired us to share our experiences.
